Myah Shelton

Education Program Assistant

Originally from Mid-Michigan, Myah Shelton is now a student at Northwestern University, where she studies theatre, dance, and legal studies. Professional highlights include serving as the assistant director and assistant choreographer for Newsies and Rock of Ages at Midland Center for the Arts. At Northwestern, she has especially enjoyed directing and choreographing a modernized, socially conscious production of Urinetown, as well as choreographing Seussical and American Idiot. Myah is passionate about working with kids and, for the past two summers, has led Myah’s Musical Theatre Camps, a series of week-long musical theatre intensives for young artists. She is thrilled to join Gulfshore Playhouse’s education team this summer, where she can continue to share her love of theatre with young performers.
