Play Submissions

Gulfshore Playhouse does not currently accept unsolicited submissions, except the submission of previously un-produced plays to our New Works Festival.  Submissions for the New Works Festival are open to all (including those without representation). The submission window opens during the first week of November and remains open until the submission cap has been met.  It is suggested you submit your play as quickly as possible when submissions open, as we usually reach the cap quite quickly.  For more information on the Call for Entries for the 2019 New Works Festival, please click here.

If you are a literary agent:

Please submit the following to Audrey Zielenbach, Artistic Content Curator, at azielenbach@gulfshoreplayhouse.org:

1. A brief synopsis (1 page maximum)
2. The first ten pages of the script
3. Any development/production history and pertinent reviews

Please allow up to three months for the initial review process. If we request the full script, you will receive a confirmation email upon receipt. Following receipt, a member of our artistic staff will only be in contact if we are interested in pursuing a full production.
