Our supporters are putting Naples on the map for professional theatre. These integral donations support the overall operations of Gulfshore Playhouse, a LORT theatre.
Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
Donor-advised funds (DAF) are a centralized vehicle for charitable giving. With a DAF, charitably inclined individuals, families, and businesses make an irrevocable gift to a public charity that sponsors a donor-advised fund program and may take an immediate tax deduction. Donors can then recommend grants over time to IRS-qualified 501(c )(3) public charities like Gulfshore Playhouse.
How does it work?
- Establish your Donor Advised Fund by making an irrevocable, tax-deductible donation to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program.
- Advise the investment allocation of the donated assets (any investment growth is tax-free).
- Recommend grants to qualified public charities of your choice.
Since the original contribution to the DAF provided the maximum tax deduction, the donor-advisor cannot receive any benefits that would change the value of the tax deduction. However, the donor-advisor can receive benefits that have insubstantial or no fair market value.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (IRA)
Gifts from your IRA (up to $100,000) are a smart way to support Gulfshore Playhouse and may have significant, additional tax benefits depending on current legislation.
