Jeanette Persails

Assistant Events/Food & Beverage Manager

I was born and raised in Naples, Florida, where I attended Gulf Coast High School and later
Palmetto Ridge High School. Growing up in such a beautiful coastal town shaped my values, but
I knew that I wanted to experience something different once I graduated. Driven by the desire to
explore beyond my hometown, I made the bold decision to move to Gatlinburg, Tennessee,
where I would spend the next decade of my life.

In Tennessee, I worked in a variety of roles. I started by cleaning cabins, a job that not only
taught me the importance of attention to detail but also helped me develop a strong work ethic. I
later worked in factories, where I learned the value of teamwork, the rhythm of daily labor, and
how to adapt to new environments. Though it was a time of hard work and new challenges, I
knew that my journey was far from over. After about ten years in Tennessee, I felt the pull to
return to Naples, to reconnect with my roots, and to explore new professional opportunities.

Back in Naples, I decided to re-enter the Food and Beverage industry, taking on a Manager
position. I found myself working at Naples Heritage as a Cabana Manager, where I spent two
fulfilling years managing a team and ensuring that guests had the best experience possible. The
fast-paced environment of Food and Beverage, combined with the personal connections I built
with colleagues and customers, brought me joy. But after five years, I realized that I wanted to
explore something new—a different route in life.

Though Food and Beverage would always be a passion of mine, I decided to venture into the
world of theater, a field that had always intrigued me. The arts, with their creativity and
emotional expression, felt like a natural next step. I made the decision to pursue this new path
while still holding onto my love for Food and Beverage. I wanted to challenge myself and learn
new skills, but I also wanted to keep the connections and experiences that had shaped my career.

This decision was a pivotal moment in my life. It wasn’t just about trying something different; it
was about embracing change, growth, and the pursuit of passions. Life is about more than just
following a single path—it’s about blending interests, pushing boundaries, and making the most
of every opportunity. As I continue on my journey, I look forward to the challenges and joys that
both the theater and Food and Beverage industries will bring, knowing that each experience adds
to the rich tapestry of my life.
