About this Conservatory Production
Welcome to our spectacular three-week summer musical theatre program, where aspiring performers aged 8-13 will embark on a magical journey through the deliciously enchanting world of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka JR.! This immersive program offers an exciting opportunity for young talents to explore the captivating music, dance, and drama of this beloved musical as they prepare to bring it to life on stage.
Over the course of three weeks, participants will dive into rehearsals, skill-building workshops, and engaging activities tailored to hone their performance skills. Led by experienced instructors and industry professionals, budding stars will refine their acting, singing, and dancing abilities while delving into the whimsical characters and vibrant storytelling of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka JR.

Audition Information
Auditions for Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka JR. will occur on the first day of camp and will consist of singing and reading selections from the show. Once registered for the production, students and parents will be invited to join a Google classroom with the music from the show so students can begin becoming familiar with the material, so we encourage registering your students early!

Gulfshore Playhouse Education firmly believes that cost should not be a bar to participation. Named in honor of the beloved, late fur family member of philanthropists Patty and Jay Baker, the Kizzie’s Kids Scholarship Fund enables all students to participate in our theatre programs. Kizzie’s Kids is funded through gifts from generous donors and other grants-based programs. Needs-based scholarships are available to students for after-school and summer programs. Kizzie’s Kids scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please note that acceptance of a scholarship does not guarantee program placement.
