Our four-week summer musical theatre program tailored for young performers ages 8-18 takes center stage in the fantastical world of Seussical JR.! This immersive program offers an extraordinary opportunity for aspiring actors, singers, and dancers to delve into the whimsical characters and vibrant music of this beloved musical.
Across four weeks, participants will engage in intensive rehearsals, specialized workshops, and creative sessions designed to enhance their performance skills. Led by seasoned instructors and industry professionals, students will embark on a thrilling journey, exploring the magical stories of Dr. Seuss while honing their acting, singing, and dancing abilities.
Throughout this immersive experience, performers will collaborate, build teamwork, and nurture their artistic talents, all while preparing for an unforgettable production. The program culminates in an awe-inspiring performance of Seussical JR., where our young talents will showcase their hard work and dedication on stage, captivating audiences with their vibrant portrayal of beloved Seussian characters.

Audition Information
Auditions for Seussical JR. will occur on the first day of camp and will consist of singing and reading selections from the show. Once registered for the production, students and parents will be invited to join a Google classroom with the music from the show so students can begin becoming familiar with the material, so we encourage registering your students early!

Kizzie's Kids Scholarship Fund
Gulfshore Playhouse Education firmly believes that cost should not be a bar to participation. Named in honor of the beloved, late fur family member of philanthropists Patty and Jay Baker, the Kizzie’s Kids Scholarship Fund enables all students to participate in our theatre programs. Kizzie’s Kids is funded through gifts from generous donors and other grants-based programs. Needs-based scholarships are available to students for after-school and summer programs. Kizzie’s Kids scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please note that acceptance of a scholarship does not guarantee program placement.
