10:00AM-1:00PM – Singing/Acting appointments

1:00PM-2:00PM – Lunch Break

2:00PM-6:00PM – Dance Call/Callbacks

What to Prepare

An accompanist will be provided. 

• Please bring a headshot (or photo) and resume (if available).
• 32-bar cut of a song in the style of music from Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Please bring sheet music.
• Auditioners will be asked to read the provided side (scene) during the audition. Memorization not required. CLICK HERE for Susan Waverly sides. 
• There will be a dance call in the afternoon. Please bring appropriate attire and footwear (Jazz shoes or sneakers).

Contract Details

• This is a compensated position.
• Gulfshore Playhouse will not provide housing and transportation.
• This role is double-cast.

White Christmas rehearsals will take place from 11AM-7PM on Tuesday-Sunday. An actor enrolled in local schools will be expected to attend rehearsals following the school day (after 3PM) and on weekends (call times may vary). 

Performances occur Tuesday-Saturday at 7:30PM, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2:00PM, and Sundays at 3:00PM. The actor must be able to attend all rehearsal and performance dates as outlined in the contract.

SEEKING:

Gulfshore Playhouse is seeking two actors between the ages of 10-16 to play the role of SUSAN WAVERLY in the upcoming production of White Christmas.

[SUSAN WAVERLY] female, any race/ethnicity, 12-15 year old child. The General’s granddaughter, Susan is a lovable and outgoing real kid. She is very smart, wise beyond her years, and cares deeply about her grandfather. Once bitten hard by the showbiz bug, she demonstrates everything that is winning in the ultimate child performer. She has an excellent belt voice and is able to move well.
