Inspired by the 2003 movie of the same name, students ages 8-13 get the opportunity to be a part of this regional premiere! Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo JR. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

Gulfshore Playhouse Education firmly believes that cost should not be a bar to participation. Named in honor of the beloved, late fur family member of philanthropists Patty and Jay Baker, the Kizzie’s Kids Scholarship Fund enables all students to participate in our theatre programs. Kizzie’s Kids is funded through gifts from generous donors and other grants-based programs. Needs-based scholarships are available to students for after-school and summer programs. Kizzie’s Kids scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please note that acceptance of a scholarship does not guarantee program placement.
