Sara Ryung Clement
Scenic Design
Sara Ryung Clement (Scenic Designer) is a Minneapolis-based set and costume designer. Her Off-Broadway costume design includes The Reservoir (Atlantic Theatre Company), Golden Shield (Manhattan Theatre Club), Somebody’s Daughter (Second Stage Uptown), and Fruiting Bodies (Ma-Yi). Regionally, she designed the world premieres of Lucas Hnath’s A Doll’s House Part 2 and Lauren Yee’s Cambodian Rock Band (South Coast Repertory, La Jolla Playhouse and Oregon Shakespeare Festival). Other regional credits include Boston Lyric Opera, Guthrie Theater, Portland Center Stage, Alley Theatre, Denver Center, Geffen Playhouse, Pasadena Playhouse, Dallas Theatre Center, Seattle Repertory, and others. Sara teaches set design at University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama and Princeton University. sararyungclement.com @sararyung
