Matt Lytle (Assistant Director/Dramaturg) is thrilled to be working on his first show at Gulfshore Playhouse! He lives in NYC and works as a director, dramaturg, actor and acting coach. He was the Put-In Director for Alabama Shakespeare Festival’s 2024 production of A Christmas Carol. He recently Assistant Directed behind Juliette Carrillo on Go, Dog. Go! Ve Perro ¡Ve! by Steven Dietz and Allison Gregory at the Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis. He spent a semester at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art studying Shakespeare and Restoration performance. Education: BFA, Boston University; MFA, Brown/Trinity Rep. Regional Acting: Trinity Repertory Company, Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Florida Repertory Theatre, Theatre Mu, Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company and Kentucky Shakespeare.
