David Mitsch (he/him) is a NYC-based costume, wig, and makeup designer. Recent design credits include Love’s Labour’s Lost (Island Shakespeare Festivel), Today is My Birthday (Yale Rep), Reykjavik, The Salt Women (Yale School of Drama), Tales for Winter (Yale Center for British Art), Elon Musk and the Plan to Blow Up Mars: The Musical, Red Speedo, Burn Book, Avital, The Whale in the Hudson, Dragaret (Yale Cabaret), Everybody (Yale Drama). David’s wig and makeup design has been seen at Carnegie Hall, Skirball Center, Town Hall, Ensemble Studio Theater, The New Ohio (NYC) Yale Rep, Yale Cabaret (New Haven, CT), Bord Gáis Energy Theatre (Dublin), among others. David holds a MFA in Acting from the American Repertory Theater / Moscow Art Theater Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University, and a MFA in Costume Design from the Yale School of Drama where he was the recipient of The Zelma Weisfeld Scholarship for Costume Design. davidmitschdesign.com
