Alan Kitty

Actor/Writer/Producer Alan Kitty has created four solo shows based on the life and work of Mark Twain. They have been produced in New York, Houston and Sarasota and toured 22 states. He has also appeared in numerous regional and local productions including Original Sin, China Patterns, Heroes, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Bank Job and more. Prior to moving to Florida in 2014, he appeared in numerous Off-Broadway productions. This year marks the debut of the Sarasota-based non-profit Mark Twain Society. Twain-related, inspired or influenced new and known works are slated. And he is excited to be working with the wonderful Gulfshore Playhouse.
