Gulfshore Playhouse, a mission-driven, professional theatre company located in Naples, Florida, is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented and organized individual to serve as Video and Digital Content Project Manager, providing video production and content creation for the marketing team.
Gulfshore Playhouse offers a diverse season of straight plays and musicals ranging from venerated classics and Broadway hits to contemporary works and world premieres. The Playhouse is passionately committed to producing high-quality, professional theatre which exceeds the expectations of the cultured residents and visitors of Naples, FL, many of whom are regular theatre patrons in New York, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.
Gulfshore Playhouse recently opened the Baker Theatre and Education Center, a state-of-the-art facility, featuring a 368-seat Broadway-sized mainstage, a 125-seat flexible space, rehearsal studios, classrooms, and rental space. In 2022, Gulfshore Playhouse became nationally recognized as the 77th member of the League of Resident Theatres (LORT). This is an extraordinarily exciting time for the Playhouse, which is experiencing unprecedented growth, and the Executive Assistant will have the opportunity to participate in everything from production to special events to coordinating daily business affairs.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Video and Digital Content Project Manager will lead the video and digital storytelling of our theatre’s brand. This role is responsible for developing compelling content that inspires audiences, elevates our productions, and supports our mission. The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic thinker with a deep passion for the performing arts, capable of balancing big-picture creative direction with hands-on execution.
The ideal individual will have a strong drive to provide high-quality work, the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills. The Playhouse values hard work, kindness, generosity, passion, and grace-under-pressure. The Video and Digital Content Project Manager may be expected to work extended hours when necessary to meet goals. Some weekend and evening hours are required including attendance at Opening Nights, special events, and/or meetings that may happen outside normal hours.
Position Overview:
The Video and Digital Content Project Manager will lead the development and execution of digital content strategies while managing key organizational videography projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, creative thinker with a passion for the arts, videography, digital marketing, and project management. The ideal candidate will have experience in content creation, social media management, and coordinating cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Content & Marketing:
- Develop and implement a cohesive digital content strategy across the theatre’s website, social media, email marketing, and other platforms.
- Create and curate engaging multimedia content (videos, blog posts, and email campaigns) that align with the organization’s mission and brand.
- Manage and grow the theatre’s social media presence, crafting compelling posts and interacting with the community.
- Track and analyze digital engagement metrics, adjusting strategies to maximize reach and impact.
- Maintain and update social channels with accurate and timely content, ensuring a user-friendly experience.
Project Management:
- Oversee marketing and production content timelines, ensuring deadlines are met for promotional campaigns, video shoots, and event materials.
- Coordinate cross-departmental digital projects, acting as a bridge between marketing, advancement, and production teams.
- Assist in managing relationships with external vendors, designers, and media partners
- Assist with digital accessibility initiatives to ensure content is inclusive and reaches diverse audiences.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in videography and digital content creation, marketing, or project management, preferably in the arts or nonprofit sector.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems (WordPress or similar), and email marketing tools.
- Experience with project management tools (Basecamp, Asana, etc) and ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) are a plus.
- Knowledge of theatre, performing arts, or nonprofit operations is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
