Brian Richards

Brian, a Florida native and recent 2025 graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word, served as the head of both scenery and lighting crew within the Theatre Department for the 2023 and 24′ seasons. Throughout his time there, Brian gained invaluable experience in technical theatre, honing skills in both design and execution of complex stage environments. His leadership in overseeing crew operations and collaborating on artistic visions for multiple productions has equipped him with a well-rounded and adaptable approach to theatre production. He is excited to take his talents and experience to the East Coast, and is even more eager to connect with new opportunities and continue growing in the vibrant world of theatre. With deep roots in Florida, he’s thrilled to return back to his home state and contribute to the local theatre scene while pursuing his passion for bringing performances to life through both technical mastery and creative collaboration.
