The World Goes ’Round Hits Full Rehearsal Mode at Gulfshore Playhouse
The cast of the Gulfshore Playhouse production of The World Goes ’Round is officially in rehearsal, and the energy in the room is building!
With five performers bringing the music of John Kander and Fred Ebb to life, rehearsals are in full swing as the cast works with Director/Choreographer Dann Dunn, Music Director Trevor M. Pierce and Associate Music Director/Conductor Michael A. Stephens to fine-tune vocals, learn choreography and bring the production’s unique style to the stage.
The result is already starting to sparkle:
In this new behind-the-scenes rehearsal video, the cast works through “Coffee in a Cardboard Cup,” one of the show’s high-energy numbers, with Dunn, Pierce and Stephens. It offers a glimpse of the work happening behind the scenes as the performers build the precision, chemistry and energy that will define The World Goes ’Round.
Set in Gulfshore’s intimate Struthers Studio, the production will surround audiences with the music of Kander & Ebb in a swanky club atmosphere, complete with cabaret-style seating and live musicians onstage.
The World Goes ’Round runs October 20 through November 22 in the Struthers Studio at Gulfshore Playhouse. Come see what all this rehearsal is building toward!
