Emily Nacrissa Griffith

Emily Nacrissa Griffith (she/her) is an MFA Stage Management candidate at Columbia University and a Utah native who began her stage management career at Utah Valley University. Before moving to New York, she spent eight seasons with Pioneer Theatre Company, where she worked on more than 50 regional productions, including the out-of-town tryout of Broadway’s Shucked and the world premiere of A Distinct Society. As Production Stage Manager, she had the honor of calling the first production in PTC’s new Meldrum Theatre, The Lehman Trilogy, and her work at Pioneer also included opening the National Tour of Bright Star with Carmen Cusack.

Favorite PTC credits include the world premiere of i, the regional premiere of Sting’s The Last Ship, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Newsies, Mamma Mia!, and The Play That Goes Wrong. Over two seasons with Sundance Summer Theatre, Emily served as both Production Stage Manager and Production Manager. Her work has also taken her to Weston Theater Company and to concerts featuring Bette Midler, Jane Fonda, Carrie Underwood, and Brad Paisley. Beyond the theatre, she is proudest to be a daughter, sister, and aunt, and is endlessly grateful for the incredibly supportive family who has cheered her on every step of the way.
