Danny Kuenzel

Danny Kuenzel (Equity Stage Manager) – Danny returns to Gulfshore Playhouse by way of Saugatuck, Michigan where she recently completed productions of Into the Woods and Once.  Previous GP productions include:  Beautiful, Circle Forward, and White Christmas, Sweet Charity, Dial M for Murder, Anything Goes, Into the Breeches, Winter Wonderettes, Barefoot in the Park, Steel Magnolias, The 39 Steps, Another Revolution, and Bedlam’s Saint Joan.  Other regional credits include:  Saugatuck Center for the Arts, Mason Street Warehouse, Clarence Brown Theatre, Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Pioneer Theatre Company, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Weston Playhouse Theatre Company, The Alley Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook, and the Contemporary American Theatre Festival.    Danny is a proud 20+ year member of Actors’ Equity Association, the union for performers and stage managers.  She is delighted to no end to finally, truly experience a production of the plan, A Christmas Carol.  Somehow in her twenty odd years of professional stage management, she’s never been contracted to manage the show.  She’s only worked backstage on a single performance of it.  That was during her first full season as a production assistant at Indiana Repertory Theatre.  The stage manager of that show was her mentor, Joel Markus.  This one’s for him.  (If you think the name sounds familiar, flip through the program a bit more.)
