Tim Habbershon is a Managing Director at Fidelity Investments in Boston, leading the Family Enterprise Group as the founder of the Family Thought Leadership and Practice Center of Excellence. He focuses on the advisor-family partnership in high-net worth families.
He is also an adjunct professor at Babson College, where he is the Founder and Director of the Babson Institute for Family Enterprising and holds the European Executive Board Term Chair in Family Enterprising. He holds a B.A. from Grove City College in Grove City, PA, a M.Div. from the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, MA; an M.B.A. from the University of South Dakota; and an Ed.D., also from the University of South Dakota. Tim serves on three corporate boards—as Chair and Board Member of the Ratner Companies, as Board Member of the Berwind Group, and as Board Member of AUA Capital.
With his pioneering expertise in family enterprise and entrepreneurship, Tim has led many executive education seminars on this topic around the world and has written widely on it in many academic papers as well as popular publications such as Fidelity Viewpoints, Business Week Small Biz.
