What’s the difference? Sugden is not a professional theatre. It’s a wonderful community, volunteer theatre. And when Artis puts on plays, they are bringing in traveling acts, plays that travel around the country. Gulfshore Playhouse will literally be producing plays from scratch that could wind up on Broadway! They could be producing plays that can win Tonys. All of which are born right here in Naples. … There’s no doubt in my mind that this will elevate the entire city.
