It’s the most ‘WONDERETTE’ time of the year

It’s The Wonderettes’ world.

We just happen to be living in it.

Variety magazine once wrote, “Seems like you can’t walk into a regional theater these days without tripping over a Wonderette.”

And that’s certainly true in Naples, where two productions from the wildly popular jukebox musical series are being staged: The Naples Players are putting on the original musical, “The Marvelous Wonderettes” (through Nov. 26), and Gulfshore Playhouse is presenting “The Winter Wonderettes” (Nov. 16-Dec. 17), the holiday show.

“Naples won’t know what happened to them,” says Roger Bean, the shows’ creator and writer. “They can’t escape!

“What a lovely abundance, a nice gift for Christmas.”
