Based on Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel, aspiring professional author Jo March writes the story of her and her sisters, Meg, Beth, and Amy, as they grow up in Civil War-era Massachusetts. Their adventures lead them on journeys of personal discovery, heartache, and hope in this inspiring musical. Students 13-18 will rehearse and perform this Tony-nominated musical during this after-school theatre class while receiving training in acting and musical theatre performance from professional artists. No prior experience is necessary, but students must have a willingness to learn, grow, and become a part of a professional arts community.
