Become an intern at Gulfshore Playhouse and be immersed in an intensive experience at a growing world-class professional theatre. The Gulfshore Playhouse internship program is an ideal program for recent graduates and post-grads looking to gain practical field experience, develop and refine skills, and work closely with theatre professionals. And, as an added bonus, you get to live just minutes from the beautiful white sand beaches of Naples!

About the Program

Gulfshore Playhouse is a growing professional theatre driven by values of artistic excellence, workplace candor, and integrity. We value every voice and recognize the important role each team member plays in bringing excellent theatrical and educational opportunities to our patrons and community. Interns are highly respected members of our team. This is a supportive, fast-paced, artistic community where we value creativity, dedication, and enthusiasm. On top of gaining valuable, practical skills in a specific field, interns have the opportunity to get inside the workings of a professional theatre, network with professionals and artists from the industry, pursue self-outlined goals, and experience departments outside their specific field.

The internship program is a full season contract beginning in September and ending in May (contract dates vary depending on the season). Interns receive a weekly stipend and fully furnished housing (including utilities, WiFi, and cable). Interns additionally receive complimentary tickets to every Gulfshore Playhouse production.

Candidates for the program will be prepared to enter a full-time, seasonal position beginning in September. Candidates must relocate to Naples, Florida for the period of the internship contract. The ideal candidate is ready to commit to full-time work hours.
