Joey Rudder
Chief Financial Officer
Joey Rudder is the Chief Financial Officer at Gulfshore Playhouse. In his role, Joey oversees all financial operations and strategy, supporting the theatre’s continued growth and success in its new home, the Baker Theatre and Education Center.
Prior to joining Gulfshore Playhouse, Joey served as CFO/COO of the Telfair Museum of Art in Savannah, Georgia, where he led the museum’s financial, operational, and human resource functions. His earlier career includes 12 years in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors in Savannah, including roles at Friedman’s Jewelers, The Landings Club, Royce Learning Center, and Portman’s Music. This diverse experience has equipped him with a well-rounded approach to nonprofit financial sustainability, strategic planning, and process improvement.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Joey earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and served as Treasurer of the university’s Clay Target Team.
Joey recently relocated to Naples with his wife, Ashley, a Registered Nurse specializing in orthopedic surgery, and their two sons, Lucas and Drew. He is thrilled to bring his passion for the arts and operational excellence to the Gulfshore Playhouse team during this exciting chapter of growth and transformation.
