Joan Clifford

Joan Clifford is a past chair of the Goodman Theatre Board of Trustees in Chicago, where she has been an active member since 2004. Currently, Joan serves as the Benefit Events Leadership Chair on the Board. After a career in education, Joan went on to open and operate travel agencies in both Chicago and London. Joan has held many impressive leadership roles, notably her volunteer work since 2007 with the Naples Children & Education Foundation. In 2012, Joan helped raise $12 million for the Foundation while serving as Co-Chair of the Naples Winter Wine Festival. As a grant committee member, she has helped grant over $13 million to 25 Collier County agencies. Joan was named one of the 5 Dynamic Women Steering Local Change in 2019 by Naples Illustrated.

Joan is married to Bob Clifford of Clifford Law Offices. Bob and Joan are both graduates of DePaul University, which they have continued to support. They have two children, both active in Chicago: Erin, an attorney and wellness consultant, and Tracy, a fashion style consultant.
