Naples nonprofits raise $92M in record gala season

Economic and political uncertainties didn’t seem to have much of an effect during the 2025-26 gala season for Naples nonprofits, with many organizations setting records as Paradise Coast patrons gave big to support their favorite causes. 

Of the 37 organizations answering a survey on gala season results, 21 set records for amounts raised, proving that the spirit of giving was alive and well during what The Naples Press has dubbed “paddle season” — the area’s own season-within-a-season filled with galas and other signature fundraising events that help support nonprofit missions throughout the year. 

For the season just ended, a grand total of more than $92.4 million was given to support nonprofits in five categories: the arts; business and community; children, education, seniors and social services; environment, animals and nature; and health and community.
