Rising Stars Campaign
YOUR GIFT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Gulfshore Playhouse Education is vital to the community. Your crucial support will keep our students acting, singing, dancing, and learning.
Gulfshore Playhouse Education fuses our professional expertise with the needs of our community. Since the creation of our Education department in 2007, you have helped us serve tens of thousands of people with readily accessible programming that inspires creativity, encourages self-expression, and supports the blossoming of self-confidence, collaboration, and a deep appreciation for the arts. Over the years, your support has allowed our programs to evolve, grow, and flourish, serving over 12,000 people each year. Your continued support will help us adapt to an unusual year so our region’s children do not miss out on these vital experiences.
After the immense success of last year’s inaugural Rising Stars event, we wanted to keep the momentum going this year by ensuring we can still show up for all the lives who benefit from Gulfshore Playhouse Education’s programming. There are many ways to support Gulfshore Playhouse Education this year. As always, we welcome fully tax-deductible gifts of any size. This year, with a donation of $400 or more, you will receive an e-ticket to a special Rising Stars Virtual Concert featuring Broadway’s Lora Lee Gayer, which you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home.
How Your Donation Helps Us
A donation of any size makes a difference. Here’s how your support can help:
- $50 can be used toward production costs for our STAR Academy productions Little Women and Ebenezer Junior so our students can have a world-class experience;
- $100 will cover the costs of costuming one child in our STAR Academy productions;
- $250 can help subsidize tuition for a STAR Academy student or a ThinkTheatre residency in a Title I school;
- $500 can help defray the cost of our Professional Internship program which provides housing and a weekly stiped to recent college grads looking to break into the theatre business.
- A gift of any size will be used to support our myriad of programs such as the Synergy Series or our Community Partnerships with the Holocaust Museum and the Naples Philharmonic.
Provide students with exceptional theatrical training that fosters their growth as people and as performers. Additionally, your support enables us to offer scholarships to students in need so no one is barred from these life-changing experiences. This fall, our STAR Academy students will perform Little Women: The Musical and Ebenezer Junior.
Annual Cost: $117,255
Support the development of classroom residencies offered to area schools, especially Title I schools, at a subsidized rate. These residencies enhance students’ ability to learn and provide teachers with new methodologies to engage students in learning, teamwork, and self-expression.
Annual Cost: $30,000
Middle and high school audiences have the opportunity to experience world-class theatre; your support can help us create a virtual student matinee experience for the 20-21 school year.
