There are a lot of artists that work together to bring a piece of theatre to life, and now teens will have a chance to be a part of that process from the beginning with our Teen New Works program. Developing skills in playwriting and giving and receiving constructive criticism, students will end the week with a draft of a short play that will be presented as staged readings on the last day of the program.
Kizzie's Kids Scholarship Fund
Gulfshore Playhouse Education firmly believes that cost should not be a bar to participation. Named in honor of the beloved, late fur family member of philanthropists Patty and Jay Baker, the Kizzie’s Kids Scholarship Fund enables all students to participate in our theatre programs. Kizzie’s Kids is funded through gifts from generous donors and other grants-based programs. Needs-based scholarships are available to students for after-school and summer programs. Kizzie’s Kids scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please note that acceptance of a scholarship does not guarantee program placement. If you are interested in learning more about scholarships, please contact Steven Calakos at firstname.lastname@example.org.
