MAUREEN SILLIMAN (Virginia) is happy to return to Gulfshore Playhouse, having previously appeared in Vanya and Sonya and Masha and Spike, My Fair Lady, and Miss Keller has No Second Book. She was on Broadway in Shenandoah, the musical I Remember Mama, and Is There Life After High School?, and Off- Broadway in The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (NY Shakespeare Festival), Marathon Dancing, Reckless, Three Postcards, Blue Window (also on the West Coast – LA Drama Critics Award, Dramalogue Award). Maureen toured in The Gingerbread Lady, The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the Moon-Marigolds (with Shelley Winters – NJ Drama Critics Award) and in Fiddler on the Roof(as Golde opposite Theodore Bikel). Her regional credits include Falsettos (Pittsburgh Public Theater) The Belle of Amherst, The Real Thing, Uncle Vanya,The Beauty Queen of Lenane (Two River Theater), The Goat (Southern Rep) Zhivago (La Jolla Playhouse), The Cocktail Hour, A Shayna Maidel (Delaware Theater Company), Company (Huntington Theater) Pride’s Crossing (Theatreworks) The Rothschilds, Rags (Coconut Grove Playhouse), To Kill a Mockingbird (NJ Shakespeare Theater) Maureen was in the films Blue Window (PBS), Childhood’s End and Reckless. On television, she appeared in Law & Order, Feds, The Andros Targets, Dixie:Changing Habits and Sanctuary of Fear as well as two years as Pam Chandler on Guiding Light. Also a singer, she won a MAC Award for the CD Pictures in the Hall.
