Assistant to the Producing Artistic Director
Ashley joined Gulfshore’s team in 2017 after graduating from Florida State University in May with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre. She began acting in high school and continued through college where she took part in Rogue Production’s annual FLOW: Ten Minute Play Festival as well as other experimental works with Rogue Productions such as “13 Love Songs” and “24 Hour Theatre.” Over the next few years, she became more interested in stage management, administration, and directing through the aid and support of her mentors and teachers. She was a Stage Manager for the School of Theatre’s annual New Horizons festival, and later for a guest artist workshop and staged reading of a new work on FSU’s stage. Ashley previously worked for Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center as a camp counselor and Assistant Stage Manager for The Pajama Game, The Toxic Avenger, Catch Me If You Can, and The Wedding Singer, as well as getting to work alongside the Production Stage Managers for fourteen shows. Her directing credits include Assistant Directing Bachelorette for FSU’s student theatre organization: Ellipsis, Assistant Directing Cloud 9 through the School of Theatre, and Directing a new work for FLOW: Ten Minute Play Festival through Rogue Productions in her senior year.
Ashley is ecstatic to be a part of the Gulfshore Playhouse team and continue to cultivate art throughout the community.
