The Teen Conservatory is by-audition only. Auditions for Les Miserables have passed.
Set in 19th century France, this cherished Tony-winning classic is the ultimate story of redemption and a testament to the triumph of the human spirit. Featuring iconic songs like “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” and “Do You Hear the People Sing?” and a dynamic cast of incredible characters, Les Misérables has become one of the most celebrated musicals in history. Under the direction of Broadway veteran Becky Timms (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Cats), Teen Conservatory students have the exciting opportunity to take part in this epic musical.
The Teen Conservatory was created to give teens who have a passion for the performing arts a program where they can work with professional artists, see world-class theatre, and learn the craft of performance in an intensive but non-competitive environment. No experience is necessary, but students must demonstrate a deep level of seriousness and a willingness to learn, grow, and become part of a professional arts community. Teen Conservatory students have learned from Broadway artists and casting directors, been mentored by Gulfshore Playhouse staff, and performed such shows as The Secret Garden and Into the Woods.
