Patrick Mulryan
Dialects Coach
As a Voice and Dialect Coach, Patrick is currently represented on Broadway by Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Lyric) and off-Broadway by The Play that Goes Wrong (New World Stages). Last season he coached Gulfshore’s production of Anything Goes.
Past Broadway credits include David Henry Hwang’s Yellow Face (Roundabout) starring Daniel Dae Kim and Francis Jue (who won a 2025 Tony for his performance) and Left on Tenth starring Julianna Margulies and Peter Gallagher and directed by Susan Stroman.
Past credits include Corruption at Lincoln Center Theater (directed by Bartlett Sher), Lost in Yonkers at Hartford Stage (co-directed by and starring Academy Award nominee Marsha Mason) and Sweat at the Huntington Theater Company for which the cast received the Elliot Norton Award for Outstanding Ensemble.
Directing credits include Indian Ink, Raison d’être: an Evening of Pirandello (also adaptor), and Goblin Market (JJewell Productions) which he directed in New York at 59E59 and abroad at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival.
Acting credits include Menier Chocolate Factory (London), Roundabout Theatre, EST, Barrow Street/TFANA, La MaMa, McCarter, Old Globe, Trinity Rep, and the Guthrie.
Patrick is a member of the Voice and Speech faculty at the Juilliard School in the Drama Division. He received his MFA in Acting from Brown University/Trinity Rep and is a certified teacher of Miller Voice Method (mVm).
Patrick is also a board member of Colored Criticism, an organization that highlights the voices of artists, audiences, and professionals historically sidelined from cultural criticism.
