Anastacia Puertas

Anastacia is a new member of the Gulfshore Playhouse team. She recently graduated from Syracuse University in May 2022 with a BFA in Film with a concentration in production design. However, she has always loved theater and bounced between film sets and theater stages during her time at school. She was both the costume designer for SU Drama’s Fall 2021 production of In Love and Warcraft as well as wrote, directed, and produced her thesis film Blood Sisters which is currently on the international film festival circuit.

She loves learning new crafts and working with different tools and mediums to create immersive worlds and exciting stories. Outside of work she loves hiking (she’s still figuring out what to do with the lack of mountains in Florida), D&D, and diving into historical rabbit holes. She looks forward to working with Gulfshore Playhouse this season to help bring their stories to life.
