AUGUST WILSON’S RADIO GOLF

Harmond Wilks, an ambitious real estate developer, is determined to save his blighted childhood neighborhood and become the first Black mayor of Pittsburgh. But revitalizing his neighborhood comes with a cost that puts the neighborhood’s history in jeopardy. In this surprising, suspenseful, and humorous story, Wilks and the Hill District become embroiled in a battle between the past and the future. The final play in August Wilson’s revered American Century Cycle, Radio Golf asks us all to consider the price of progress.
