Previews: May 2nd & 3rd
On a cold winter night, Kyra, a schoolteacher, is unexpectedly reunited with her former lover, the recently widowed Tom, in her London apartment. Now forced to confront their shared past, the two find themselves entangled in a passionate clash of opposing ideologies and mutual desires. This intoxicating and exhilarating Tony-winning play asks whether true love is enough to bridge the distance between two people.
ADMISSION IS FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, except as noted.
Show Attendance Not Required.
Members will be able to join the cast after the show for a Q&A about the process, the show, or even just to learn what it’s like to be an actor. Actor & Director Talk-Backs will take place the second Thursday of each production following the evening performance.
Learn how theatre artists translate what’s on the page to the stage! Through a unique partnership with the Collier County Public Libraries, Script Club will consist of book club-style discussions surrounding the scripts for Gulfshore Playhouse’s 2018-2019 productions, diving into the themes and topics of each text as well as teaching the art of script reading and interpretation. With meetings at South Regional Library, this free program is accessible and open to all in our community!
After the curtain falls, join us for a post-show conversation, moderated by a member of the Gulfshore Playhouse staff, to have a discussion with your fellow audience members about the themes and ideas of the play. Curtain Conversations may feature special guests from the region or the production to further enhance the discussion.
