Marvin Bell

A native of St. Louis, Mo. who began his career as a comedian and has over three decades stand-up experience. He has done multiple productions of Alfred Uhry’s DRIVING MISS DAISY with the first earning him a Broadway World nomination for best performance by a featured actor. Making his debut at the Gulfshore Playhouse, RADIO GOLF will be his fourth August Wilson production, preceded by TWO TRAINS RUNNING at Triad Stage, THE PIANO LESSON at Cape Fear Theater, and FENCES at New Harmony Theater. With a passion for the work of August Wilson, he plans to present his own rendition of the playwright’s one man presentation, HOW I LEARNED WHAT I LEARNED sometime in the next year.
