THURSDAY Arrive in New York City and check into the luxurious Michelangelo Hotel. Located in the heart of Times Square, this elegant and stylist hotel will position you within comfortable distance of Broadway and the best the City has to offer. In the evening, enjoy a dinner at Oceana, a revered Midtown seafood restaurant known for its bold, innovative menu with your fellow trip companions along with Kristen Coury and Jeffrey Binder.
FRIDAY Join Kristen and Jeff and your fellow guests Friday morning for an exclusive, in-depth tour of the iconic Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, home to 30 performance venues for theatre, opera, ballet, and music. Afterwards, head across the street to indulge in a delicious Italian lunch at Cafe Fiorello. In the evening, dine at the famous db Bistro Moderne owned by Michelin star chef Daniel Boulud. The savory French cuisine is a perfect preamble to a night at the Walter Kerr Theatre on Broadway, home of Hadestown. Recently nominated for 14 Tony’s, Hadestown is a re-telling of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice directed by the Tony nominated visionary Rachel Chavkin. Performed by a vibrant ensemble of actors, dancers and singers, HADESTOWN is a haunting and hopeful theatrical experience that grabs you and never lets go. Following the performance, grab post-show drinks with Kristen and Jeff before calling it a night.
SATURDAY Enjoy a day in the city before meeting up with Kristen, Jeff, and your fellow guests for a delectable feast at Hakkasan, a world-renowned Cantonese restaurant in the theatre district. Following dinner, you’ll head over to the Cort Theatre where you will witness two-time Oscar winner Glenda Jackson’s stunning turn as the titular role in King Lear. With an original score by legendary composer Philip Glass and directed by Tony winner Sam Gold, this West End transfer has been hailed as an unforgettable, theatrical feat. You’ll surely be buzzing after the performance, so you’ll have the opportunity to unpack this Shakespearean epic with Kristen, Jeff, and your fellow guests over drinks.
SUNDAY On your last day, enjoy a delicious sushi lunch at Blue Fin. Blue Fin makes simple flavors exceptional through cultivating the finest quality ingredients. You will then attend a performance of the highest-selling show on Broadway, To Kill a Mockingbird. This new adaptation of Harper Lee’s classic book, directed by Aaron Sorkin who is best known for the beloved series The West Wing, has been hailed by critics and audiences alike. The stirring, thought-provoking production featuring a Tony-nominated performance by Jeff Daniels is the perfect conclusion to a weekend of great theatre.
