We have visited the Gulfshore Playhouse many times. The plays there are always outstanding. The actors are the best. many brought in from out of Florida with outstanding credits. The staging and costumes..also outstanding.
The last play we saw there was The Liar. We are avid theatre goers and we thought this was one of the best plays we have ever seen. The casting was wonderful….I cannot even describe the creativity of the costuming. A cross between Shakespeare and KISS ??? hysterical. The pricing here is more reasonable than other Naples venues. Best bargain are the previews.
They do serve wine but only very light snacks..crackers, chips, etc. So do not plan on eating lunch or dinner there !!.
One comment: the audience there is very polite and appreciative. Naples audiences have a bit of a rude reputation at live venues such as rushing out early at the end of performances.. especially the Philharmonic (Artis) audiences. So it is very refreshing for the actors to be appreciated after their excellent performances.
