She graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in Acting and minor in Musical Theatre.

If you are missing the excitement of dance as we quarantine at home, this is a great way to get up and get moving while also learning dance techniques from a professional choreographer!
Adam Cates lives in New York City. After years as a professional dancer, he has gone on to direct and choreograph musicals, concerts, operas and more across the US, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean. For Gulfshore Playhouse, Adam has choreographed hit productions of My Fair Lady and A Funny Thing…Forum. Adam is on the Commercial Dance faculty at Pace University, teaches at Broadway Dance Center and Steps, and is the author of the guidebook for aspiring professional performers: The Business of Show. His Broadway credits include the hit musicals Anastasia, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder, and Anything Goes. He co-wrote The World According to Snoopy, in association with Peanuts Worldwide and licensed by Concord Theatricals, which he staged for Theatre Under the Stars in Houston and Theatre Aspen. He has directed productions of A Gentleman’s Guide… (Playhouse on the Square), Maria de Buenos Aires (Anchorage Opera),Mamma Mia, Big River, Anything Goes, A Christmas Carol, and others. Recent choreography credits include La Boheme (Santa Fe Opera), Jeeves & Wooster (Hartford Stage), Cubans in Paris (Lincoln Center/Juilliard),Beauty & the Beast (Music Theatre Wichita), The Little Mermaid (Arkansas Rep), The Magic Flute (Lincoln Center/Juilliard), Cinderella (Lincoln Center/Little Orchestra Society), Halka (Bard Festival) and episodes of 90210 (CW), Live from Lincoln Center (PBS), and Chicas de Viaje (Argentina). He is a creative director/consultant for Celebrity Cruises, having just worked on their newest ship: APEX. Regional: “Eva Peron” in Evita (Kansas City Rep), “Helen Bechdel” in Fun Home (KC Rep) “Lady of the Lake” in Spamalot (Connecticut Rep), world premiere of Michael John LaChiusa’s Giant (Signature Theatre), and Murder Ballad at Actors Playhouse in Coral Gables, Florida, for which she won a Carbonell Award for Featured Actressin a Musical.
