The Synergy Series. Dig Deeper.

How can I better understand what it takes to make these shows happen?

I’d love to be able to interact with the people on-stage and behind the scenes.

I want to continue the conversation started by the play. How can I do that?

Our Synergy Series offers you the opportunity to engage with The Playhouse in a variety of stimulating ways beyond just seeing a play. From actor and director blogs and talk backs, to partnerships with area libraries, to panel discussions and more, if we have piqued your interest with a production, we are opening new avenues for you to deepen your understanding of our show and the themes surrounding it.

Please read on for additional information or select a link to the right to see each show’s Synergy Series events.

The Synergy Series Features
Curtain Conversations

After the curtain falls, join us for a post-show conversation, moderated by a member of the Gulfshore Playhouse staff, to have a discussion with your fellow audience members about the themes and ideas of the play. Curtain Conversations may feature special guests from the region or the production to further enhance the discussion.

Script Club

Learn how theatre artists translate what’s on the page to the stage! Through a unique partnership with the Collier County Public Libraries, Script Club will consist of book club-style discussions surrounding the scripts for Gulfshore Playhouse’s 2016-2017 productions, diving into the themes and topics of each text as well as teaching the art of script reading and interpretation. With meetings at South Regional Library, this free program is accessible and open to all in our community!   All events are Thursdays from 4:00-5:30.
