The Synergy Series. Dig Deeper.

How can I better understand what it takes to make these shows happen?

I’d love to be able to interact with the people on-stage and behind the scenes.

I want to continue the conversation started by the play. How can I do that?

Our Synergy Series offers you the opportunity to engage with The Playhouse in a variety of stimulating ways beyond just seeing a play. From actor and director blogs and talk backs, to partnerships with area libraries, to panel discussions and more, if we have piqued your interest with a production, we are opening new avenues for you to deepen your understanding of our show and the themes surrounding it.

Please read on for additional information or select a link to the right to see each show’s Synergy Series events.

The Synergy Series Features
Panel Discussion

Panel Discussions will feature experts from Southwest Florida discussing the themes and topics from each play, which will allow audience members to continue exploring. Moderated by Producing Artistic Director, Kristen Coury, the panel will be interviewed briefly about its experience with the play and then the discussion will be opened up to field questions from the audience.

Script Club

Learn how theatre artists translate what’s on the page to the stage! Through a unique partnership with the Collier County Public Libraries, Script Club will consist of book club-style discussions surrounding the scripts for Gulfshore Playhouse’s 2016-2017 productions, diving into the themes and topics of each text as well as teaching the art of script reading and interpretation. With meetings at Naples Regional Library and South Regional Library, this free program is accessible and open to all in our community!

More events announced soon.
